Bo came to us as a 4 month old bundle of spunk and attitude. His favorite playmates were our 2 young Bassets, Emma and Lucy, who were just 6 months older. Bo is still full of spunk, still loves to play. Bo loves visitors and is almost always happy.
Bo sired both of Patsy's litters, is the sire of 5 Champions and 4 others who are pointed.
Bo has a natural stack and beautiful movement. He finished his championship quickly and his Specials career started off fast. Bo won 12 BOVs, a Group Placement and an Award of Merit by 18 months of age.
Unfortunately we had a few awful experiences at a couple of show sites. While Bo came back from those experiences he never was quite as happy in the ring. Added stress was the illness and death of breeder mentor, Kaye Ladd.
Bo was retired from the ring early to enjoy life of leisure, fun and fatherhood. Bo is now enjoying his retirement in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Rodrigo Pestana Lopez and his family.
